Nonprofit and fundraising event management
A nonprofit event usually has more to do than fill a room.
It may need to welcome donors, move a program on time, support a fundraising moment, coordinate volunteers, give speakers clear direction, and make sure vendors and production are not working from different versions of the plan.
North West Event Planning supports fundraisers, galas, donor gatherings, community programs, cultural events, annual meetings, and other nonprofit events across Washington.
The fundraising moment cannot be an afterthought
A paddle raise, live appeal, auction, video, keynote, or honoree segment only works inside the larger rhythm of the event.
If dinner is running late, the room is still moving, a video is not ready, or the speaker before the ask goes long, the fundraising portion feels the effect.
The event plan should identify the important program moments early and build the timing around them, rather than treating them as one more line in a generic schedule.
Run of show
One working plan reduces last-minute questions
The run of show brings the event into one sequence: what happens, when it happens, who owns it, and what must be ready beforehand. Depending on the event, that may include:
Service levels
Planning support can begin at different stages
01
Event-Day Management
If most of the event is already planned, Event-Day Management can help bring the final details together and run the event day.
02
Planning and Coordination
If the event is underway but the program, vendors, guest flow, or schedule still need work, Planning and Coordination may fit better.
03
Full-Service Planning and Production
If you want help from early planning through production and closeout, Full-Service Planning and Production may be the right starting point.
Organizational events and production services are quoted based on scope, schedule, venue, staffing, and technical requirements.
Experience
Experience with fundraisers and public programs
We bring more than three decades of experience planning, producing, and managing events, including more than 18 years of work in the United States.
Our founder's prior experience includes work on fundraisers for the University of Washington and other Washington nonprofits. Those events were produced by the organizations involved and are referenced as prior professional experience, not as North West Event Planning productions.
