Persian and Iranian events
Persian and Iranian events are a documented cultural specialization within North West Event Planning's broader event planning and production work.
A ceremony or celebration may bring together the aghd, reception, family roles, music, food service, photography, vendors, and several transitions that need to happen in the right order.
We help coordinate those parts as one event rather than leaving each family member or vendor to manage a separate version of the schedule.
The ceremony sequence shapes the rest of the event
An aghd may involve a processional, seating order, officiant, family participation, music, the sofreh aghd, photography, and a transition into the reception or another part of the celebration.
The practical questions matter: when does each person need to be ready, when does the ceremony begin, what happens immediately afterward, and what vendors are affected if the timing changes?
We bring those decisions into the event schedule before the room fills.
Sofreh aghd
We coordinate the sofreh as part of the event plan
North West Event Planning does not provide, rent, or style sofreh aghd installations.
When a sofreh is part of the ceremony, we can coordinate the operational details around it: who is supplying it, when the vendor has access, where it needs to be placed, when it must be ready, and how the setup fits the venue and ceremony schedule.
Planning the sofreh and supplying the sofreh are different responsibilities, and we keep that distinction clear.
The transition needs time of its own
When the ceremony and reception use the same room, a room flip has to be planned like any other part of the program.
Chairs or tables may need to move. Vendors may need access. Guests may need to be directed elsewhere. Photography, food service, and music may all depend on when the room is ready again.
The event plan identifies who is responsible for the reset and what the rest of the event is doing while it happens.
Multi-day
Several schedules still need to connect
Some Persian and Iranian celebrations take place across more than one day, venue, or family-managed gathering.
Each part can have its own schedule, but some responsibilities carry over: vendors, rentals, family roles, personal items, transportation, photography, or decisions that affect the next event.
Multilingual coordination can also be part of the scope when family members, vendors, or venue staff need the same operational information.
Community programs
The experience also includes public cultural programs
Persian and Iranian event experience is not limited to private ceremonies.
Our founder's documented prior experience includes stage programming for the Seattle Iranian Festival, produced by the Iranian-American Community Alliance, and Nowruz celebrations through Peyvand NPO.
Those programs bring different planning needs: performers, stage timing, volunteers, technical vendors, public or outdoor venues, and multiple program transitions.
They were events produced by those organizations and are referenced here as prior professional experience, not as North West Event Planning productions.
Service levels
We can join the process at different stages
01
Event-Day Management
If most of the event is already planned, Event-Day Management may be enough to bring the final details together and run the event day.
02
Planning and Coordination
If vendors, schedule, ceremony details, room flow, or program decisions are still open, Planning and Coordination may fit better.
03
Full-Service Planning and Production
A multi-day event or program with broader planning and production needs may require Full-Service Planning and Production.
