About North West Event Planning

North West Event Planning is a Kirkland-based event planning and production business working across Washington.

We support private, cultural, corporate, nonprofit, and production-focused events with planning, coordination, and event-day management. The work can begin early in the planning process or later, when an event is already underway and needs stronger coordination.

The experience behind North West Event Planning

North West Event Planning was formed in Washington in 2018, but the experience behind the business began much earlier.

Founder Keyhan Rouhani brings more than three decades of experience planning, producing, and managing events, including more than 18 years of work in the United States.

His background includes event planning, production, stage management, program coordination, and event direction across cultural programs, concerts, festivals, stage productions, fundraisers, conferences, and private and family events.

That experience is the foundation of how North West Event Planning approaches events today: with attention to both the planning that happens beforehand and the coordination required when the event is actually taking place.

Keyhan’s work has developed across different types of events and different roles, from planning and production to stage management and event direction.

That range of experience matters because many events bring several moving parts together at once. Vendors, venue requirements, program timing, family or organizational responsibilities, speakers, performers, and guests all affect one another.

North West Event Planning brings those parts into one working plan and coordinates them through the event.

Earlier work

Experience across cultural, community,
and public events

The goal is straightforward: make sure the decisions made during planning can still work when the event is happening.

Before and alongside North West Event Planning, Keyhan’s experience has included stage programming for the Seattle Iranian Festival, produced by the Iranian-American Community Alliance; Nowruz celebrations through Peyvand NPO; and fundraisers for the University of Washington and other Washington nonprofits.

These are roles Keyhan held on events produced by those organizations. They are not presented as events produced by North West Event Planning.

Persian and Iranian events are one documented cultural specialization within that experience. They are one part of a broader background that also includes private, organizational, nonprofit, performance, and community events.

Where we work

Based in Kirkland. Working across Washington.

North West Event Planning is based in Kirkland, Washington, and works across the Eastside, Seattle, and the wider Puget Sound region, along with other Washington locations depending on the event.

Most of the events we take on run between 25 and 250 attendees. Events outside that range are considered case by case.

Travel outside the primary service area is quoted separately.
